Adding new Bees to the Ritehive

When introducing new bees to a Ritehive, we find that leaving the lid and insulating blanket slightly ajar helps the bees that have flown find their new home.

I leave this till dark then close the hive up. The reason for this is that the under-the-hive walkways are a learned skill. Bees emerging in the morning will learn this new home.
